From Troy "Hi, my name is Troy, I’m an American Bulldog, and I think I’m about 5-6 years old. As you can tell from my name, I’m male and neutered. I weigh about 47kilos and I’m very Strong, I walk well on the lead, but need a gentle reminder now again not to pull. I was adopted by my current owner from the ‘Doris Banham Dog Rescue Centre’ in September 2008. I was taken into a loving home by my owner and his then partner, but now, as I understand it, she has left and my owner has made a very hard decision to re-home me, hence why I find myself here. Likes. I love people, wherever people are, that’s where I am. I like being gently brushed, I love my chest and tummy being stroked, and love the back of my neck being massaged, and in fact I love lots and lots of fuss and cuddle’s. I love to gnaw on the left over Sunday roast bone. I love long walks in the country, by rivers, wherever. You’ll find that when out on walks, folks love me. I’m very approachable and lovable. In the right circumstances, I love chasing my blue rubber ball when off the lead. I do return with the ball, but don’t easily let you have it back. I love the home environment, I’ve spent many a happy relaxing evening on the sofa with my owner, watching TV......... well, he was watching TV, and I was sleeping. Please can I come home with you ?? "

Loving homes dog rescue is at Winkleigh in Devon and have many dogs that need loving homes.
So please before you decide to get a puppy just have a look at the dogs Terry & Chris have, it will melt your heart.
Because every dog deserves a good home.
We would really like to have some pictures to display of the American Bulldogs we have previously bred. People move and you lose touch!
